Address form the Chair
It is my great pleasure to announce the 4th International Biophilia Rehabilitation Conference in Berlin on September 23rd, 2005.
One of the objectives of the conference is to make a global network for
researchers and people who work for the rehabilitation medicine not only
in the practical fields, but also in the basic research laboratories. I
hope that we are able to provide the opportunity for doctors, nurses, occupational
therapist, physical therapist, and policy makers to discuss on various
kinds of issues that we are facing in the rehabilitation medicine around
the world.
This conference will also provide the unique opportunity for the comparative
studies on various topics about rehabilitation medicine between Asia and
European countries. I also hope that we will have the active discussions
between basic researchers and practitioners in the symposia. To facilitate
the communications, we are organizing the symposium on "Muscle Physiology
in Elderly People" and the symposium on "Improvement from Impairment
in the Disabled Elderly" as introduced in the website.
